Senior MuleSoft Integration Specialist

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior MuleSoft Integration Specialist / API Integration Engineer to join an enterprise integration team. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in enterprise integration, with strong hands-on expertise in MuleSoft, API-led architecture, DataWeave, REST/SOAP services, and complex integration environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Build APIs following the API-led connectivity approach (System, Process, and Experience APIs).
• Develop complex data transformations using DataWeave.
• Design and integrate REST and SOAP services across multiple systems.
• Work within complex integration environments, including legacy systems and modern microservices-based architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, development, QA, business) to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure best practices around design, performance, security, and scalability across integrations.
• Document integration architectures, flows, and developed APIs.

Technical Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise integration.
• Proven hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Design Center, API Manager, Runtime Manager, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of API-led architecture.
• Advanced experience with DataWeave for data transformation.
• Experience developing and integrating REST and SOAP services.
• Experience working in complex integration environments (multiple systems, high volume, hybrid architectures).

Nice to Have (confirm with client if applicable)

• MuleSoft certifications (MCD, MCPA, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD for API deployment.
• Knowledge of API security (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, JMS, etc.).

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Autonomy and problem-solving ability in complex environments.
