- Work with healthcare data formats, primarily HL7 (XML) and FHIR (JSON)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable data exchange
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable TypeScript code
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across systems
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical best practices
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and backend development
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and service architecture
- Comfortable learning and working with proprietary SDKs/frameworks (Epic's agent framework)
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a remote, English-speaking environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with React (frontend exposure is a plus)
- Experience with interoperability standards, especially HL7 and/or FHIR
- Background in JavaScript (candidates transitioning from JS are welcome)
- Prior experience in healthcare tech / EHR systems
