About the Role

As a Senior Functional Lead, you will be the primary consultant responsible for the end-to-end success of Dynamics 365 CRM implementations for a strategic North American Non-Profit organization. This is a high-visibility role where you act as a Trusted Advisor, leading client stakeholders through complex business transformations. You won't just follow a backlog; you will own the functional roadmap, lead discovery, and ensure the solution delivers real-world impact using Agile-driven methodologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Discovery Leadership: Independently lead functional discovery workshops, eliciting complex requirements and mapping intricate business processes for Non-Profit operations.
  • Strategic Design: Design and configure end-to-end solutions across Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, and Field Service, ensuring alignment with the client’s mission-driven goals.
  • Power Platform Ownership: Masterfully utilize Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse to build scalable, low-code extensions that go beyond standard CRM out-of-the-box features.
  • Project Governance: Own the production of high-quality functional specification documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps.
  • Go-Live Stewardship: Lead UAT, training, and deployment activities, ensuring high user adoption and a seamless transition to the new system.
  • Proactive Advisory: Challenge the status quo by guiding clients on industry best practices, acting as the bridge between technical possibilities and business needs.


Requirements

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 CRM / CE within a Microsoft Partner or Consulting environment (mandatory).
  • Proven Leadership: Extensive experience leading workshops and acting as the primary point of contact for external clients.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Service, Field Service) and the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Agile Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Azure DevOps and Agile delivery cycles.
  • Language & Communication: Advanced English (Native/Bilingual level) with the maturity to manage North American stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.


Preferred Experience

  • Non-Profit Sector: Experience implementing D365 solutions for non-profit organizations or similar mission-driven entities.
  • Omnichannel: Hands-on work with Dynamics 365 Contact Center or Omnichannel for Customer Service.
  • Certifications: Active Microsoft Certifications (MB-210, MB-230, PL-200, or PL-400).
