About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Retail MM/SD Consultant with strong expertise in S/4HANA to join our Application Managed Services team. This role focuses on Level 2 and Level 3 support, covering incident resolution, problem management, and the implementation of small enhancements within a Retail environment.


Key Responsibilities

Application Support (L2/L3)

  • Analyze and resolve incidents and service requests related to SAP MM/SD processes in a Retail environment.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical issues and propose sustainable, long-term solutions.
  • Manage the full ticket lifecycle using ITSM tools (ServiceNow/Jira), ensuring compliance with SLAs and support KPIs.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams, including third-party vendors, to resolve complex issues.


Problem Management

  • Drive problem management initiatives to reduce incident volume and improve overall process efficiency.
  • Document known errors, workarounds, and solution approaches in the team's Knowledge Base.


Change Management

  • Design, test, and implement small configuration changes and enhancements within the SAP MM/SD modules.
  • Prepare and validate functional specifications for bug fixes and minor developments.
  • Support transport request management and ensure quality assurance throughout deployments.
  • Provide UAT support, coordinating with business users and validating solution effectiveness post-deployment.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Replenishment, Goods Movements, Inventory, Order Fulfillment, Delivery, and Billing processes in SAP S/4HANA Retail.
  • Experience with IDoc monitoring, interface troubleshooting, and batch job handling.
  • Ability to perform debugging and coordinate technical fixes with ABAP development teams.
  • Solid understanding of transport management, system landscapes, and change control processes.
  • Prior experience in L2/L3 application support roles, ideally within a Retail industry context.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) for client-facing communication.
