About the Position

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our global People Operations team. This is a true, hands-on practitioner role designed for an experienced individual contributor who will be directly responsible for executing end-to-end payroll cycles. There is no people management involved in this position; you will fully own the operational execution of our payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Payroll Execution: Personally manage and execute full-cycle payroll processing for the US and Canada independently, ensuring absolute accuracy and compliance with local legislation.
  • Data Analysis & Integrity: Manage, analyze, and interpret large volumes of complex payroll data, inputs, adjustments, and reconciliations.
  • Compliance & Governance: Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and provincial tax regulations, supporting audits and year-end reporting.
  • Employee Support: Act as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries, providing clear and timely resolution to employee questions.

Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in payroll processing, ideally between 8 and 10 years. (Please note: Perfiles with 3–5 years of experience will not be considered for this senior role).
  • US & Canada Expertise: Mandatory, hands-on experience processing US and Canada payroll autonomously and end-to-end. Deep knowledge of tax filings, provincial/state regulations, and local compliance is required.
  • Current Role Setup: Must currently be operating as an Individual Contributor. This role focuses strictly on execution, with no direct reports or team management responsibilities.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Strong data analysis capabilities. Ability to handle, audit, and interpret large datasets using advanced Excel or payroll systems.
  • Language: Excellent verbal and written English skills are mandatory, as you will operate daily in a fully bilingual/global environment.
