Engineering Operations is a cross-functional role embedded in our Technology organization, supporting Product, Engineering, and Data. This person improves how the department operates and leads internal initiatives that make our teams more effective.
This is a hands-on, non-management role. You'll own the recurring operational work that keeps teams aligned and lead the special projects that level us up over time.
You'll be the person leadership turns to when an idea needs to become reality. Take an ambiguous goal—"our onboarding could be better," "we need a clearer way to assess team health," or "our internal docs are a mess"—and turn it into a structured plan, a working implementation, and an iterative process that sticks. You'll work across disciplines, build the connective tissue between teams, and raise the operational bar for the whole department.
This is not an executive assistant, HR, recruiting, IT, or people-management role. It's a role for someone who thinks in systems, thrives on ownership, and is energized by turning messy problems into repeatable processes—while staying comfortable in the technical environment our Product, Engineering, and Data teams operate in. This role doesn't require hands-on software engineering, but it does require the ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering, and Data teams—understanding technical concepts, navigating dependencies, using data to inform decisions, and building lightweight systems, reporting, and workflow improvements that help the organization operate more effectively.
You'll report into Engineering and Product leadership and partner closely with leaders and individual contributors across the Technology org.
These are non-negotiable. If you don't meet most of these, this likely isn't the right fit.
These will set you apart but aren't required to apply.
